Welcome to a new week in Restaurant City!
Have you had much luck opening the new Mystery Boxes ? I hope so!
This week even more exciting changes are coming to Restaurant City. Pull up a stool, listen to the smooth tunes and order a drink! Lounge Bars are finally here!
To unlock your very own Lounge Bar, you need to master the new dish called Coco Colada (requires: Pineapple, Ice, Coconut, Cherry. Picture shown below) Once you have unlocked your Lounge Bar, you can assign one of your employees to work as a “Bartender”. Your bartender will serve drinks to customers that sit at your bar.
After you have unlocked the Lounge Bar, you will then have the option to unlock additional features for your bar! Including bar snacks that help with customers patience, an additional employee, and an extra seat for your bar!
Also, when you master a drink, it will be shown on the shelf behind your bartender for your customers to drool over!

To celebrate the launch of Lounge Bars in Restaurant City we are introducing 4 new drinks to your menu! These drinks are special, not only are they appealing to your eyes and tastebuds, but they each unlock something really cool and functional for your restaurant! The Coco Colada, as I mentioned above, unlocks the Lounge Bar itself. The Russian Cappuccino unlocks an extra usable seat for your bar. The Strawberry Heaven drink will unlock an additional employee for you to hire, and the Tropical Sunrise drink will unlock Bar Snacks which will then add 1 second to your customers patience level. Yummy and functional! Can’t go wrong with that! Enjoy!

For outdoors this week, you can ensure safety and order in your restaurant with a tough looking Bouncer near your front door. We’ve also got some warm Floodlights to create that cool ambiance outside of your restaurant!

With all of the FIFA World Cup events going on you can now support your country by plastering your colors all over your walls! If sports aren’t your thing, you could use these all year round anyway! A little country pride never hurt anyone. These flags can be found in the indoor decoration tab.

I know hey! Why would they risk offending ppl of half the other countries? It’s either al 32 or none~~ If they’re smart, they’d let the gourmet king give away the other half just to be fair!

I have to agree with yourBOM i was already extremely dispapointed with the fact THAT YOU DID NOT RELEASE ALL 32 COUNTRIES! I cannot tolerate that, you do realise that your players are from all over the world what makes you think that the players are only from 15 COUNTRIES! Even if you were just doing all the world cup flags wheres the asian coutnries????????????WHERE is South Korea, North Korea or Japan???????And where are the African flags, I can tolerate your game becoming more and more easy and actually quite boring at times BUT I cannot tolerate how your games DOES not include countries other than the 15 that you have released!Very disappointed playfish!!!!!!!!!!!!!If I don’t see the other flags I don’t think that me and my friends will play your games anymore because I don’t want to play a racist game

Btw the theme for this week is really fantastic. I’m sure there are a lot of players that have been wondering for quite some time when will be have more items to create a lounge/bar.
I highly recommend taking one step further and create a Vietnamese/bar/lounge Fusion restaurants. These Vietnamese/Asian Fusion restaurants are popping up every where in large cities; food are delicious, great club like/Asian decor, great music and even a dance floor for some.
Beside I don’t think RC has ever done a South Asian theme.
Here are some recipes I would like to recommend that you could put a twist on:
- Crispy Vietnamese Spring Rolls
- Summer Rolls (Vegetarian or with meat)
- Banh Xeo – Vietnamese Crepes
- Bánh mì – Vietnamese Sandwich on a French Baguette
One of my favorite places to eat is Bun Soho in NYC.

I really love this update! The items I’m looking forward the most to are the pine dividers (since they look so realistic O:) and the Lounge waterfeature (since it’ll really help with my design O:). I hope the waterfeature won’t be CC though. Not sure if it’s moving or something.

Tho i still wish they would fix the coin machines i keep getting that menu rather then collecting the Money. I know a simple fix. a collect all coin machine button

I think the flags should be available without the need to have PF money, We work hard for our coins, Why not make them available for coin purchase, I’m sure alot mor people would buy them and display them, I for one definatly would seeing as how I’m supporting multiple teams.

Awesome update! Love the new lounge bar and drink recipes! They look so pretty and delicious! *drools* I also like the flag collectibles and the fact that all can acquire it without the need to use real life money (poor person here). I’m thinking that the rest of the flags will be added during the second phrase of the lounge bar theme? At least I’d like to hope so.
Just a suggestion: would it be possible to make it so that the lounge only serves what’s on the lounge bar display rack? Because I’d prefer that my bartender and my waiters/waitresses serve different drinks. And I think it’d be more cool and unique this way.
P.S. This new bar made me motivated to revamp my restaurant – and I did!

Ok I’m so getting sick of rc. I’ve heard several times Ea games took over playfish so it’s really Ea games they just decided to keep the name either way i guess it doesn’t really matter. What matters is the fact I’ve pretty much gotten sicken tired of the new opening system. I actually liked it at first but somethings are just crazy. For example I paid for 9 hours of work a few hours ago saved my rest. then signed back in a little bit ago i still had 6 hours and 51 seconds. I had no one coming in my rest. it was like it was closed and my rating was 81/81 so its not because of my rating. This has happened several times. If i have to pay for my rest. to be open then dangit my workers better be working and customers better be coming. Another thing you said that if you set your workers to work for 24 hours and your gone for 24 hours then your workers become unhappy this is bull. I visit my place several times a day. Sometimes i don’t make it back before close but it’s never double the time. I really don’t care about paying the money because its actually cheap but what i do care about is i pay the money save my rest. Sign out long enough to open a crate on my page and just because i didn’t open my rest. my staff becomes unhappy again. Sometimes i don’t want my rest. to be open so why do i have to be punished last i checked it was your game but it’s my rest. I have saw some people say this game is a challenge it so not anymore and over half of the 300 and something friends i have added on my fb just for rc agree. You’ve made the game to easy. I will say that I had to delete about 100 people on my friends list due to the fact you changed the opening system and they hated it and reading other post I’m not the only one who had friends that quit as well. Not everything i have to say is negative. I do love the new bar theme. I honestly was going to quit the game because of the opening system until the bar theme came along. Also i love the new background i had suggest we have a background change in a survey you guys put out a couple of months ago. I do think Rc needed to be updated some but all the changes have just taken away from the Rc everyone fell in love with to begin with. I’ve played Rc for over a year now and remember several reasons why i loved this game but I don’t love it like i use to heck half the times i don’t even want to play it.

Really someone would have to be crazy to buy it when it’s a gift. Why sale the items you can gift? I did see Flour the other day which i was proud of. I really think you should make

vanilla
and the other bar ingredients free gifts, because the crates rarely give you anything but coffee beans, coconut, cherry, and pineapple, although they’re all free gifts!
Also, for a new theme, you could use icecream, since its summer. You could unlock an icecream stand.

they have made a change to the way your inventory displays ….
The shop will now only list items that you can buy so any item that’s not available like the limited items will be only accessible from the “my items” tab now.
