Hello fellow restauranteurs! Restaurant City has been updated with new items and limited dishes!
As the frozen wind howls outside , inside your restaurant you are toasty warm, despite having dewcorated your restaurant with the icy cold theme of the week. Let all your customers stare up at the Northern Lights and dream of an arctic adventure.
Before I start on showing you all those new items for this week, I also want to make sure you are aware of the 25% off sale in the ingredients market when purchasing ingredients using Playfish Cash. This is definetely the time to stock up on those ingredients, and a perfect time to get those ingredients you need for those missing Limited Time dishes!
This week there are 3 new limited dishes for you to unlock! These dishes are perfect for this time of the year with the Santa´s Hat of Treats for starter, the Snowman for Dessert and the very festive Gingerbread Milkshake as a new option for the thirsty customers. It all sounds very yummy anyway!

You can unlock all these dishes until Midnight January 5th. If you have not unlocked the dishes before that time, the dishes will disappear from your menu, so you need to hurry and collect those ingredients.
Once you have unlocked any of the three dishes, you can upgrade them to a level higher than level 1 at any time. You can upgrade them also after the limited time period, but you need to remember to learn the dish you want to keep in your menu. If you haven´t learned the dishes (got them to at least level 1) before the period is over, they will disappear from your menu, however you may be able to buy these recipes in future.
For the outside of your restaurant your week you can start on the icy cold theme, you can find a Penguin statue to place in front of your restaurant, and even an igloo roof! Give your restaurant the icy cold treatment and go all out with the new theme, make sure you check out the animated Candy Cane Lamp.

Go all out with the icy theme for the inside of your restaurant, with the Ice Table and Chair as well as the fantastically carved Ice Sculpture. But let´s not forget what time of year it is, so check out the 3 new functional items the Reindeer, Red Bed and the Santa Statue. The Reindeer item will add 2 points to the max popularity, but remember that it can only do that once, no matter how many Reindeers you put in your restaurant. While the Santa Statue will make all your customers wear the very festive clothing that is santa and elf costumes, the Red Bed will allow one of your staff to rest 25% quicker.

nice, i love the icy theme, everything is great!
but i don’t understand why the bed isn’t “icy” since it released with the icy theme.
& the snow theme somehow incomplete since the last update, wonder why it’s not release the rest of the item yet.

STOP RELEASING NEW DISHES!! Nobody can keep up. Who has that much sugar?? I need three sugars now, this is ridiculous! And of course they are NEVER on sale from the Ingredients cart.
Please give us a chance to level up some of these new dishes after the holidays before you come out with even MORE dishes that we can’t unlock… I’m starting to get pretty fed up with Restaurant City!

I agree about the dishes, all these new dishes each need 4 ingrediants thats 40 per dish and you release 3 dishes a week thats 120 ingrediants a week just to keep up!!!
I understand the need to release new stuff to keep people intrested and a praise you for it, however I do feel you are going a little over the top!!

thanks for the new dishes! sorry for all of you who “cant keep up” learning 3 dishes is not very hard to do in a week… i mean… thats about 12 ingredients, its not THAT hard to get all the ings… i mean unless you dont trade with people… anyways im sick of all you bashing on playfish! i love the game they have made for us to play. and remember guys its a game. its not REAL. if you dont have time to learn a dish, dont worry about it, chances are you wont be using it in the future anyways… geesh!

I need to finish more dishes now than when i first started on restaurant city. Keep in mind that I finished 35 dishes. That is a lot. It is still NOT enough to keep up.

Is it just me or has anyone noticed that since a few months back, whenever we enter/click on the menu, the customers seems to be reentering the room ? It use to be the customers will just carry on eating/walking… but not anymore
